On the occasion of #Swachhotsav (Festival of Cleanliness), Team India in Mauritania – Embassy of India, Nouakchott, led by Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Naresh Kumar joined in promoting cleanliness and sustainability at the Embassy and surrounding areas! The Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign is in full swing, inspiring everyone to keep our surroundings clean, green, and hygienic.<\/p>\n

The initiative was launched by Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. During this initiative, several Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs) underwent thorough clean-up and Safai Mitr (Cleaning staff) felicitated.<\/p>\n

As part of the initiative, Ambassador also administered the #SwachhtaPledge to all members of the Embassy to keep our surroundings clean & devote 100 hours per year and 2 hours per week for volunteering towards cleanliness initiatives and spreading awareness among others.<\/p>\n

From waste segregation to eco-friendly practices, let\u2019s pledge to make our cities a shining example of cleanliness and responsibility.<\/p>\n

Together, let\u2019s make a difference for a cleaner and healthier environment!

Campagne \u00ab Swachhta Hi Sewa \u00bb (La propret\u00e9 est un service) \u00e0 l\u2019Ambassade de l\u2019Inde, Nouakchott<\/p>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019occasion de #Swachhotsav (Festival de la Propret\u00e9), l\u2019\u00e9quipe de l\u2019Inde en Mauritanie, dirig\u00e9e par l\u2019Ambassadeur, S.E. M. Naresh Kumar, a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la promotion de la propret\u00e9 et de la durabilit\u00e9 au sein de l\u2019Ambassade et dans ses environs. La campagne \u00ab Swachhta Hi Sewa \u00bb bat son plein, inspirant chacun \u00e0 maintenir notre environnement propre, vert et hygi\u00e9nique.
\nDans le cadre de cette initiative, plusieurs Unit\u00e9s Cibles de Propret\u00e9 (Cleanliness Target Units \u2013 CTUs) ont fait l\u2019objet d\u2019un nettoyage approfondi et les Safai Mitr (personnel de nettoyage) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 honor\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Dans le cadre de l\u2019initiative, l\u2019Ambassadeur a \u00e9galement fait pr\u00eater le #SwachhtaPledge (Serment de Propret\u00e9) \u00e0 tous les membres de l\u2019Ambassade, les engageant \u00e0 maintenir leur environnement propre et \u00e0 consacrer 100 heures par an et 2 heures par semaine au b\u00e9n\u00e9volat pour des actions de propret\u00e9 et \u00e0 la sensibilisation de leur entourage.<\/p>\n

De la gestion des d\u00e9chets aux pratiques respectueuses de l\u2019environnement, engageons-nous \u00e0 faire de nos villes un exemple \u00e9clatant de propret\u00e9 et de responsabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n
