Mwkie.com Tours India’s Rashtrapati Bhavan

As part of its ongoing series of reports on the Republic of India, the journalistic delegation comprising 25 journalists from different parts of the world continued its exploration of the country. The delegation was granted a rare opportunity to enter and tour Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of the Republic of India, located in New Delhi.
Rashtrapati Bhavan was constructed during the British colonial period and designed by architect Edwin Lutyens. It is considered one of the largest presidential palaces in the world. The palace is distinguished by its unique architectural style, which blends Indian and European classical architecture, and includes grand ceremonial halls as well as the famous Mughal Gardens. Rashtrapati Bhavan stands as a symbol of Indian sovereignty and serves as an important center for constitutional and diplomatic activities in the country.
